In the beginning God said...

Let there be light. And a few million years later, humans are sitting in front of flat surfaces, looking at them tinkle and change as our fingers tap away on small buttons on another flat surface. Periodically, when the urge bubbles over, the humans will get up from in front of the flat surfaces, do a zombie march to the kitchen, where they will brew a cup of potion (known to the inner circle-members as coffee.) After that, they do a zombie march back to the flat surfaces and resume their insane tapping away (occasionally sipping on their potion.)
What do they do, you ask.
They blog.
We blog. And I imagine that God said somewhere in his own private thoughts: “It is good.”
Everything has a beginning and an end. This post is the birth of my new blog, and I hope we will enjoy some entertaining times together.
A little bit about me: I’m currently a first year student at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. I’m studying towards a degree in informatics, accounting and financing.
I like sleeping when it rains, and I really hate it when people startle me, and then laugh at me afterwards.
And then, of course, I have a vicious hunger for any knowledge – well almost any knowledge. You learn something new everyday, if you allow yourself to. The main purpose of this blog is just that: exploring something new in every post.
My philosophy is that of Socrates’: True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing. So please correct me if I’m wrong about something – and I’m sure I will be. The comment button is your friend.

nice introduction of yourself!
I am sure there will be lots and lots of "inputs" for you! Just like the movie "Electicity" (or something like that) once shown where the robot said nothing but "Ah.... Input!"
